Nothing is perfect

Unchecked capitalism (laissez-faire capitalism) has historically shown itself to be devastating to people, animals, and the environment. While one of the best economic systems, capitalism has its faults, shortcomings, and lifespan. Capitalism is currently in the process of consuming itself. In 50 years, we went from one uneducated person being able to support an entire family, to needing both mom and dad working their asses off, only to come up with a mountain of debt at the end of the day… I suggest nothing. I only acknowledge where we are in the cycle of civilization. I offer no solutions other than to practice a life of minimalism and mindfulness. The Socratic position- Don’t participate in the insanity… (Christ offers a similar suggestion with his “be in the world but not of the world.” Christianity is primarily a Platonic plagiarism. Thomas Jefferson referred to Christianity as “Plationism for the people.”)
