Cistern before monsoons?

I’m hoping to have this second cistern finished before the monsoon season gets underway. I have 2 1/2 more feet to dig down and then we can install the liner. This cistern will hold around 1,500 gallons of water once it is finished. We no longer use plastic water tanks. Off-grid minimalism, New Mexico
