The Strait of Hormuz provides the only sea passage from the Persian Gulf to open waters. Approximately 25% of the world’s energy flows through the Strait of Hormuz, making the strait one of the world’s most strategically important chokepoints. In this podcast, I explore the vast differences in reporting between our mainstream American media and other sources we have access to.

Secretary of Energy Chris Wright falsely posted on X that the U.S. Navy had successfully escorted an oil tanker through the Strait of Hormuz. Wright later deleted his post.
Meanwhile, back at the ranch…. Three ships were hit by projectiles in the Strait of Hormuz, including a Thai bulk carrier.
