New YouTube Photographers, Age Old Questions – To Crop, Or Not To Crop?

It’s interesting spending time looking at all the new YouTube photography content creators after a solid ten years of NOT viewing a single photography video. There are very few YouTube photographers still around from when I had a channel some ten to fifteen years ago. Some of the old-school people are still around, but have changed the subject matter of their channels. Eric Kim seems to be into bodybuilding these days, and the Angry Photographer is now a cult priest of some sort. 

One of the new channels that has caught my eye is CameraNewb. She recently made a video about whether to edit images. Here are some of my thoughts on the subject, as well as a little history of photography on YouTube. The Angry Photographer Busted Claiming Other People’s Work!’
