We Got Mail! Street Photography Workshop Review

I’ve been offering street photography workshops here in Chicago for two years now. It has been a changeling, yet very rewarding experience. The best thing about teaching photography,  is when someone moves to the next level in their photographic development as a result of my workshop.

“The workshop itself is a really fun experience, but the real payoff for me has been in the two months since the private workshop. Chuck obviously isn’t still walking around with me, but in a sense he is because I still hear quite a few of his lessons and thoughts on photography as I am walking around with my camera.

Chuck’s workshop has affected my approach for the better, and I feel like I’m in more control of my development. Instead of taking street photographs simply because there’s an opportunity available, I find myself looking for opportunities that I think may have a story worth telling.
