In 1969 Teddy was a top boxer at the Better Boys Foundation over on 15th and Pulaski. Teddy has lived on the streets or in jail since 1978.

Hey Teddy, how did you get that scar on your face?

“Well, one day I went into the liquor store… that’s when a verbal altercation soon ensued. I thought the store owner just had a balled-up fist, but he had a little knife. That’s when he stabbed me in my face.” -Teddy
