U.S. 45 Run To The Gulf Photo Adventure Update
Hello everyone! Hope all is well. I left last Saturday from the Chicago area and headed towards the Gulf of Mexico on my Harley-Davidson. Here’s a shot of me right before I headed on down the road:

One subject matter that I captured on my way down, were any billboards or businesses that had old Route 45 signs or logos. The first place that had such a sign was located in central Illinois. The Ol’ Route 45 Tavern must have been something back in the day. Route 45 used to be the main road running North to South before the Interstate system was created.

The sunrise in Tennessee was breathtaking. I just had to pull over and snap a shot.

I discovered this old service station just over the Alabama state line that was sporting the U.S. 45 logo.

When I arrived in New Orleans I was able to hook up with Dagan from St. Cinder. Here’s Dagan and me next to the St. Cinder bus, New Orleans.

I got soaked on my way back from St. Bernard State Park, and I loved it! The cool rain felt so soothing to my dry and burnt lips…
