Today I’ll be testing some Kentmere 100asa 35mm film, developed with a GSD-10 recipe. I’m looking for a low-grain stand developer, and GSD-10 is definitely an option.

Glycin, in powder form, has a shelf life of only six months. After that, the PH level drastically rises. Rather than having a clear solution, we get a yellow colored mix. The powder itself also changes color, from a grayish white, to this brown color seen here.

Looks like I’ll need to order some fresh Glycin before I can continue with this test!
