I just ordered a large print of this image for a good friend on mine. This photo was taken last fall from the top of Sandia Peak, New Mexico. I used a sprinkle of flash to add some drama to the foreground.

Photographing Horses In New Mexico

Posted by: | Comments (0)

Share This:

I have a group of horses that roam free on the land that surrounds my property here in New Mexico. I love this horse most of all. She is extremely friendly and affectionate. She is also a bit smarter than the other horses.

I've been experimenting with off-camera flash in some of my still life landscape work. There is a whole world located on the desert floor that I'm wanting to capture juxtaposed with the New Mexico landscape. Here's one shot that I'm happy with. I'm now offering New Mexico photo adventures where I'll offer flash photography while supplying props to make the images interesting.
